Spatial position and coordinates of the pipelines (XYZ)
Control of the spatial position of the pipeline is one of the objectives of the integrity maintenance program. Landslides, ground movements in permafrost conditions and seismic activity are just some of the causes of pipeline displacement and, consequently, the appearance of stress-strain areas.
Navigational survey offered by NGPME LLC includes high-precision navigational equipment of own design. The navigational survey can be carried out as a part of calipering as well as magnetic or ultrasonic flaw detection survey. As a result, our Customers get accurate data about the spatial location of the pipeline used, among others, for the assessment of the stress-strain state of the section.
The final report of the navigational survey also contains coordinates of defects and features of the diagnosed object, which simplifies localization in the field during DDK and repair works.
